2 Big 2 Fail to Play Leenstra Benefit- Feb 3, 2012

2B2F have been selected to play the upcoming Leenstra Family Benefit at Sheridan"s Bar/Restaurant on Friday, February, 3, 2012. The Leenstra's lost their home duing the recent hurricane in September, 2011. Their financial needs are dire as they literally are in the process of "raising" their home off its foundation and relocating it further back on their property. This is a very worthy cause and 2B2F is honored to have been selected to rock the house. Admission will be charged at the door. $20.00 starting at 7:30 with buffet meal included; $10.00 starting at or after 9:00 (band show). The link below provides graphic input to the Leenstra story.

Cowboy Ozzie

On  November 5th, 2011, 2 Big 2 Fail Band rocked a wild crowd of over 200 people at the Ian Oglesby Party held at Hillside Manor in Kingston New York.  Cowboy Ozzie and 2 Big  2 Fail actually donned formal wear for this black tie event at this beautiful venue.

Cowboy is seen above carrying his "box of gold nuggets" during the first set.  A bit later, several  latex freakazoids (below) broke into a dance. The gig was so over-the-top that management at Hillside Manor inquired about future availability of the band for a return engagement.. Party on latex dudes and stay tuned for announcements. Thanks to the Oglesbys and the management of Hillside Monor for the opportunity to play.

Original Music from 2 Big 2 Fail Band

The band will be releasing at least 3 original songs in January-February of 2012. CDs will be available at live shows and songs will be downloadable from this site for a modest cost. The push toward originals is part of preparation for summer 2012 participation at festivals. Work will begin at Joe Mystery's OmniMix Studio, shortly. More to follow.

2 Big 2 Fail Band Headline Veliz Fundraiser

2 Big 2 Fail performed as headlining act at the September 24, 2011 Tierney Veliz Fundraiser in Lodestar Park, Fredon, NJ.

Tierney is a college student who was seriously injured in a motor vehicle accident and the fundraiser was geared to help her family with catastrophic medical expenses. The fundraiser included auctions, food, amusements and five live acts. A total of $40,000 was raised. 2 Big 2 Fail played a 1 and 1/2 hour set, closing out the event. The Band was very happy to contribute.
